How to install Drupal Console

Step 1. Download the latest project version
anisur$ curl -L -o drupal.phar 
Step 2. Test the downloaded file is working properly
anisur$ php drupal.phar
Step 3. Move to a globally accessing path on your system and apply it executable permissions
anisur$ mv drupal.phar /usr/local/bin/drupal
anisur$ chmod +x /usr/local/bin/drupal
Step 4. Copy the provided configuration files to user home directory.
anisur$ drupal init

 Select destination to copy configuration:
  [0] /Users/anisur/.console/
 > 0
Step 5. Take advantage of command autocomplete feature.
anisur$ source "$HOME/.console/console.rc" 2>/dev/null 
Step 6. Update to the latest version.
anisur$ drupal self-update
 Checking for updates from version: "1.5.0"

 Update from version "1.5.0" to version "1.8.0". (yes/no) [yes]:
 > yes

 Updating to version "1.8.0".

 [OK] Updated from version "1.5.0" to version "1.8.0".
